Alejandro Valverde

The already legendary 39-year-old cycling
racer had an impact on the final part of the season and due to this he managed to land in the middle of our rating, although a couple of months ago there could not even be any talk of his inclusion in the top 10.

Miniature Australian sprinter Caleb Ewen proved to be the most prolific on the Grand Tours.
